Review: Hyatt Escala

I love staying at Hyatt hotels. They’re all so clean, modern, and overall just feels high-end without necessarily the price tag attached. During our one-night stay at Park City, we ended up staying in a suite at ski resort Hyatt Escala Lodge, and I have to say that this was the fanciest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. So sad it was only for one night! I’ve yet to do a review on hotels on this blog. This is mainly due to us…

A Stroll Around Downtown Park City

When I made my 2015 travel list, Park City & Ogden in Utah were not on there. A couple of weeks before the trip, Joseph tells me he is going to these cities for a few days with his dad for work-related reasons and invites me along since the plane ticket was SO cheap at $50 each way from LAX! BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK [Day 4]

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK, UTAH On our fourth day in Utah, we took a 2-3 hour drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park. The first thing to nice was the rapid change in weather. ZION HORSEBACK RIDING [Day 3] – The Best Birthday Present Ever!

ZION, UTAH For the longest time, all I have been dreaming about was to go horseback riding with a beautiful scenic setting. When Joseph and I went to Napa, I was so excited to try and go horseback riding in vineyards but whenever I asked about it, people just laughed at me! As if the idea is so out of this world, which makes no sense to me, hah. Anyway, my sweet sweet boyfriend, knowing how much I wanted this, surprised me…

ZION NATIONAL PARK [Day 2] – The Grounds of Zion

ZION NATIONAL PARK, UTAH On our first full day in Zion, we went up and up the canyon road until we went to the other side of the park. Our second day there, we explored more of the bottom of the canyon. Or rather, the ground level. Like I said in Day 1, the perks of being in the park during wintertime is pretty good. However, because of the snow, a lot of the trails were closed off so we ended…
